Charter One is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Coordinator Near Mesa, AZ

Charter One works with schools across the country to provide all-inclusive education management services. At Charter One we pride ourselves on our thorough knowledge of charter school operations, academics, finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, and more. We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly.

Purpose: The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will assist the Talent Acquisition Specialist in all aspects of recruitment for all of our schools in the Southeast Division.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Talent Acquisition Specialist with conducting research to ensure the company is up-to-date on market compensation data for all markets (in and out of state) and prepares findings to share with HR Director and Senior Leadership.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition Specialist, HR Generalists, HR Director, and Department Heads to develop recruitment plans to achieve required staffing levels.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.
  • Directs the efforts of employment agencies and search firms as needed.
  • Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.
  • As needed, provides initial applicant screenings to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements.
  • Conducts reference checks.
  • Participates in development of annual recruiting budget.
  • Manage job related email accounts.
  • Maintains records on recruiting activities as required.
  • Helps manage multiple applicant tracking systems and keeps postings up to date.
  • Assesses career fair and recruitment season success to help evaluate effectiveness.
  • Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelors in HR or related field preferred
  • 1 year of recruiting experience preferred
  • Communication and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills preferred (G Suite, Microsoft Office)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • At least a year of HR experience
  • Bachelors degree in HR-related field
