Essential Duties of theLinux System Administrator:
- Design, build, and implement network systems
- Provides routine testing and analysis of network facilities including firewalls, routers, switches.
- Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
- Troubleshoot network systems and performance as necessary
- Bachelors degree and 3 years of experience, Associates degree and 5 years of experience, or 7 years of experience without a degree
- 2 years of experience with Linux
- Minimum of Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Security certification required
- CNNA certification is "nice to have"
- $110,000 - $130,000 (based on experience)
