Full Job Description

Field (30% )/office (70%) Registered Nurse for the Home Care

Z Best Home Care, a Licensed Home Care Agency serving the NY Metropolitan area including Westchester County, is looking for an experienced, passionate and dedicated RN to join the team with expectation to lead the clinical department in the next 6 to 12 months (with appropriate pay adjustment to the new title).

We are looking for an excellent communicator with proven leadership skills who will train, develop and supervise field nursing personnel.

Primary Functions

• Provide in-home initial/reassessments/training visits.
• Participate in audits by Agency and/or regulatory bodies
• Create and implement Plan of Care (POC) that will fit the client's needs.
• Ensure compliance with MD orders.
• Conduct new employee orientation.
• Conduct compliance audits.
• Conduct annual evaluations.
• Supervise the field staff.
• Perform continuous quality improvement.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• 3-5 years of experience in health care
• RN certification in the state of New York
• Excellent communication and conflict management skills
• Discipline and punctuality
• Savvy user of Microsoft Office suite of tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Use of typical office equipment (printer, scanner, phone system)
• Knowledge of RNPAD Platform (preferred but not required)
• Business acumen and good understanding of the health care industry

Required License/Certification:

• BLS Certification
• RN/ License

Work Location:

• Office-Brooklyn
• Field- 5 boroughs of NYC

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
