Job Summary
This position works under the direction of the Food Services Manager. Follows planned menus, prepares meals and documents meal services. This is a safety sensitive position where operating machinery.
Position: 30 hours per week
Location: 20400 Colonel Glenn Road

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have a knowledge of basic food preparation principles, quantity production techniques, portion control and service methods. Must be able to read and follow a recipe successfully. Must understand the philosophy, policies and regulations of the nutrition program. Knowledge of Child Nutrition Program requirements is essential.
Language Skills
Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must have the ability to read and understand government regulations. Ability to effectively respond to questions from managers, patients and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Must have a basic understanding of calculation of figures.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Physical Demands
Team members are required to sit, stand, talk, hear, walk and reach with hands and arms. Must maintain a current tuberculosis skin test.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
