- Monitor workflow, oversee scheduling and coordination or maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Collaborate with the sales, parts, marketing, and service teams to analyze trends in understanding customer needs and expectations, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Maintain strict adherence and ensure compliance for industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure consistent and reliable outcomes.
- Continuously evaluate and refine service processes to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
- Develop and manage the service budget, monitor expenses, and make data-driven decisions to control costs while maintaining service quality.
- Consider quality, cost, and reliability of vendors.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency optimization and cost savings without compromising the quality or repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain business-to-business partnerships and interactions with OEM representatives.
- Establish and nurture relationships with customers.
- Provide regular updates and reports on service operations, performance metrics, and initiatives to senior management.
- Foster open communication across departments to ensure alignment and shared goals.
- Develop strategies for continuous improvement.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years proven Service Manager experience.
- High school education or its equivalent.
- CDL preferred.
- Computer and basic math knowledge.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to multi-task, adapt, and implement proactive decisions in a competitive, performance-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Customer service driven.
- Requires 25% of time traveling to prospective/current customers.
