You Can Vote is seeking a part-time Communications Assistant based in the Triangle to work ~20 hours per week in 2024. This position is a temporary contract role starting in May 2024 and continuing through November. The Communications Assistant will be paid hourly at a rate of $20-$25/hour, depending on experience.
This position is perfect for a recent graduate, current grad student, or marketing/communications professional interested in part-time work to support voter empowerment in NC. The position will be based out of our headquarters in Durham and will require some travel to visit and document events throughout the state. Candidates must have a valid NC drivers license and reliable transportation.
You Can Vote (YCV) is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that educates, registers, and empowers voters across the state of NC. We operate state-wide and are headquartered in Durham.

YCV is looking for tech savvy self-starters with at least 1 year of experience in communications, marketing, video production/editing, or graphic design. All You Can Vote staff must be willing to learn and comply with all non-partisan voter registration laws.
