YOTEL/YOTELPAD - Miami is Hiring a Food and Beverage Manager Near Miami, FL

Position Overview:

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the various Food & Beverage Outlets and delivering a quality, polished, and rewarding experience to all hotel guests enjoying these facilities.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

· Oversee the daily operations of the Restaurant, Pool Deck or any other outlet assigned to.

· Collaborate with the Dir. of Food & Beverage regarding the operating expenses of the Pool Deck and Restaurant areas.

· Assist in creating cohesion and an improved, unified Food and Beverage Department.

· Collaborate with the Sales Department, regarding the operations and execution of all private events occurring in the outlets.

· Assist the Dir. of Food & Beverage in overseeing the execution of daily Banquet and Catering events.

· Oversee the Food and Beverage Department’s role in the property’s POS system and any other property managing systems.

· Manage the implementation and execution of all Pool activities pertaining to, but not limited to, hotel packages and any newly created Pool Deck concepts.

· Assist in creating and implementing property wide SOPs and policies pertaining to the Food and Beverage Department.

· Ensure quality guest experience through food and beverage, recreational activities, and overall service.

· Utilize a strategic perspective by continuously developing the Pool Deck concept in alignment to our brand and integrating it into every aspect of the guest experience.

· Partner with Human Resources in the selection, training, and development of Food & Beverage crew.

· Ensure that all decisions and resulting actions are aligned with the Company policy of 100% guest satisfaction producing a high level of service.

· Provide an issue free work environment through motivation, support, empowerment, and development for all crew.

· Builds positive relationships between the Rooftop, Food & Beverage and Hotel departments.

· Provides constructive and consistent coaching, counseling, and direction to the Rooftop personnel.

· Assigns tasks and holds staff accountable when necessary.

· Manage the quality process in areas of guest service and crew satisfaction with discriminating detail.

· Demonstrates self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm through actions.

· Presents ideas, expectations, and information in a concise, well-organized manner.

· Understands how to manage in a culturally diverse work environment.

· Uses problem-solving methodology for decision-making and follow-up.

· Provides appropriate recognition to motivate crew.

· Ensures that crew uphold all service procedures and communication standards as outlined by Standard Operating Procedures.

· Trains on and executes all applicable Hotel Standard Operating Procedures.

· Closely coordinate opening and closing procedures.

· Develop and implement creative strategies to increase revenues and average checks.

· Use a "hands-on" approach to management.

· Manage the relationship and expectations with regards to the union agreement.

· Previous hotel/resort/ or F&B experience.

· Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation with a proven track record of living the company's values.
