Job Summary

As the Food & Beverage Coordinator at Carillon Miami Wellness Resort, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our F&B Leadership by managing daily administrative tasks, overseeing requisitions, payroll, and tip distribution. Your work ensures the seamless operation of our dining outlets, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Essential Job Functions

1. Performs requisitions for all outlets.
2. Reviews payroll timecards for all F&B hourly team members.
3. Handles the tip distribution for all F&B outlets.
4. Assists leadership team with scheduling for all outlets.
5. Tracks time and attendance and reports to the Director of Food and Beverage.
6. Collaborates with F&B Leadership and HR for any new hire joining the team.
7. Supports the banquet team when events are being set up or taking place.
8. Collaborates with Sales and Marketing to update menus and database when needed.
9. Assists with all administrative duties pertaining to the F&B department. (Emails, inquiries, among other)
10. Develops and regularly updates the training manuals.
11. Assists with any Open Table or Third-Party distribution platform.
12. Performs spot checks on In Suite Dining.
13. Understands POS systems and has the capacity to perform basic functions on the servers’ stations.
14. Attends the morning meeting and any other meeting as required.
15. Performs and compiles revenue reporting as directed.
16. Reports and documents any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures using Carillon Miami Wellness Resort communication platforms and to management as needed.
17. Performs any other reasonably related duties as requested by the F&B leadership to ensure the smooth operation of the Food and Beverage outlets.

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements

1. At least 2 years prior upscale Food and Beverage experience.
2. At least 1-year prior experience in a hotel Food and Beverage operation preferred.
3. At least 1 year prior supervisory experience preferred.
4. Management Food Handler and Alcohol Training Certificate
5. Well-organized and detail oriented.
6. Must have strong interpersonal skills including guest service motivation, the ability to effectively supervise and instill cooperation in staff, and the ability to work well under pressure. 
7. Well versed in all aspects of discreetly catering to the highest demands of high profile and powerful clients.
8. Must have a cheerful demeanor and enjoy being around people.
9. Enthusiastically embraces and exemplifies The Carillon Miami Wellness Resort mission. 
10. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
11. Must be willing to work flexible hours: breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekends and/or holidays.
