About the Job
Under the supervision of the Community Resource Center Director, CRC Case Managers are responsible for providing attentive and empathic case management services to our community members experiencing financial hardship or housing insecurity. Services are provided in person and over the phone and potentially at other locations where there is client interaction.
Salary range: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years old
- BA/BS in related social services field or equivalent
- 1-2 years’ experience in the social services field
- Ability to prioritize, learn quickly, problem-solve, work in a fast-paced and busy environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
- Passion for the helping and social services field
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and verbal/written communication skills
- Knowledge of legal and ethical standards of practice, including child abuse reporting laws (will be trained upon being hired).
- Must be available Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish
- MS word, outlook, excel
- CA driver’s license
- YMCA approved CPR/FA certification
Preferred Qualifications
- 22 years old
- 2 years case management experience
