Role: Social Media Editor
Reporting to: Director of Marketing
Location: Las Vegas (must reside in Las Vegas -in officeposition)
SocialMedia Editor will manage, develop and implement social media for the Yardbirdbrand to boost brand engagement and increase revenue.
We are looking for a creative SocialMedia Editor to work in our marketing department. The Social Media Editor isresponsible for setting social media strategy for the Yardbird brand, inclusiveof defining Yardbird social media guidelines, determining Yardbird social mediacontent pillars. creating social media posts, develop and manage social mediacalendars and work with the marketing and operations teams to brainstormcompelling social media campaigns.
This role will also beresponsible for photographing, videoing, and editing all social media content.
To be successful on this rolethe candidate must have excellent knowledge of various social media platformsand be facile in creating static and digital social media content. A good Social Media Editor combines creativecampaign ideas with analytical skills to create successful posts.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include,but not limited to the following:
· Developand collaborate on strategies for attracting new followers and engagingexisting followers through social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter,Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and LinkedIn.
· Ideateand edit to produce social-first content that aligns with brand guidelines andcompany positioning.
· Coordinatewith the marketing team to ensure social content is produced for all relevantsocial media platforms in support of overarching marketing plans, inclusive ofpaid social media.
· Research,identify, and stay ahead of relevant content ideas based on current events,trends, and topics that align with the brand’s mission, target audience, andcore values.
· Collaboratewith marketing, operations, culinary and beverage teams to adhere to projectobjectives, requirements, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
· Coordinateand align with various stakeholders, including designers and public relationsteams to ensure seamless project execution within overall marketing campaigns.
· Createsocial-first content with assets both produced by this position and othercreatives, ensuring the alignment of designs and content with overall projectobjectives and brand guidelines.
· Collaboratewith marketing and ops teams to create shot lists storyboards, and mood boardsfor social content and production.
· Developand implement brand voice and tone across social media platforms ensuring brandintegrity and positioning.
· Produceand maintain regular content calendars for social channels, inclusive of seasonalmenus, relevant events, announcements, sales initiatives and tentpoledates.
· Edit,copywrite and post real-time content and live coverage for events, asneeded.
· Utilizeanalytical tools and platforms to measure and analyze campaign performance andderive actionable insights.
Job Requirements
· Bachelor'sdegree in design, fine arts, marketing, or a related field or related fieldand/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 3-5years of experience as a social media content creator, social media manager, marketingproducer, or content producer in the hospitality industry or a similar field.
· Proficient with an SLR/iPhone camera and an eye forcreating quality, multi-use content
· Strongunderstanding of social media marketing principles, strategies, and tacticsacross various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.
· Excellentproject management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, managemultiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
· Proficiency insocial media scheduling platforms - such as Sprout Social, Later and Trello.
· Exceptionalcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborateeffectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
· Excellentcommunication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
· Attentionto detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
· Thisposition may require atypical hours, including night or weekend eventcoverage.
· Abilityto travel up to 60% to local Yardbird markets.
· Must be willing to work from Yardbird and 50Eggs west coast office in Las Vegas, NV.
