The cocktail server takes allorders and is responsible for creating the station’s rhythm and for knowing thestatus of all tables at all times. It is the responsibility of the modelcocktail server to promote thelounge and act as a brand ambassador. The cocktail server’s main purpose is toprovide the guest with an enjoyable and memorable dining experience. This isdone by delivering exceptional service, following the 4 Principles of Serviceand serving amazing dishes.

Responsibilities:

• Immediately welcomes all guests upon seating.
• Makes an extraordinary effort to always assistthe host with seating guests.
• Looks at guest in the eye, listens attentivelyand observes guests cues to understand guests needs – make sure to get it rightevery time, all the time.
• Anticipates special needs and acknowledgesspecial requests.
• Goes above and beyond to accommodate guest’sspecial requests.
• Owns every request or complaint received fromguest and makes sure it is resolve to the guest’s satisfaction and The Company’s highest standards.
• Maintain the ability to sell designed productsas selected by management. This incudes menu signature drinks, specials,specific holiday beverages or drinks, wines as selected by management and anyother product that’s featured by Marketing.
• Always informs a manager of any potentialdissatisfaction before it happens.
• Fully engages and guides the guests throughthe ordering process ensuring each guest is made to feel as if they are theonly person in the restaurant.
• Confidently and enthusiastically clarifies andconfirms all special orders with guest.
• Describes beverage enthusiastically andconfidently.
• Checks back with guests upon delivery of all beverageitems to ensure the guest is thrilled.
• Relies on body language, facial expressions,eye contact and non-verbal cues rather than verbal interruptions to determinethe level of guest satisfaction.
• Continuously performs table maintenance in themost unobtrusive manner and does so silently.
• Graciously says goodbye to all guests and extendsan invitation to return soon.
• Ensures every guest has a perfect experience.
• Never leaves assigned section unattended.
• Maintains an impeccably clean and tidysection.

Preferred:

• At least 2 years of experience as a FoodServer in a high volume and or upscale dining environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a similarresort setting.
• Alcohol, beer and wine service certificationsincluding but not limited to Court of Master Sommeliers, Certified Beer Server,Bar Smarts, WSET, etc.
