The Assistant Marketing Manager is an exempt position in the Marketing department at Yamasa USA & Rikki USA.

Basic Responsibilities:

• Contribute to Company’s strategic & tactical marketing plan
• Assist in effective coordination & tactical execution of Company’s marketing plan in coordination with CEO, Strategic Advisor/CMO, other departmental personnel, company’s agency of record (“AOR”) & other vendors
• Contribute to new packaging development & revision activities with AOR & Strategic Advisor, including acting as primary POC related to interdepartmental communication within Company & related vendors.
• Work with AOR & outside vendors developing & producing marketing/sales related collateral
• Primary POC relating to marketing-related vendors including those responsible for demos, special events, tradeshow booth construction companies, printers, photographers, videographers, retailer/distributor new item set up & SKU maintenance companies
• Provide support to AOR as it relates to shopper marketing activities, digital & marketing initiatives & programs related to company’s website, & blog/social media activities
• Acting as primary internal POC & coordinator for digital marketing initiatives & programs
• Contribute to new product development process, in coordination with both internal & external resources, including developing recipes & conducting home testing of new formulations & applications
• Provide tradeshow support, including participating onsite as part of the team
• Company’s primary POC to all e-commerce platforms/coupon companies
• Manage & maintain all Company’s marketing related files in organized manner, including acting as primary POC to support both internal & external needs related to these files
• Work with Accounting & SR Management to track marketing related expenses & submit reports
• Establish & manage D to C business. Coordinate with Accounting handling sales tax related to business utilizing third-party service
• Resolve financial disputes with vendors

Education & Experience:

• Minimum 4-year degree, in marketing or communications
• Minimum of 2-3 years of Assistant Marketing Manager or Coordinator experience in food & beverage industry
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing & executing marketing plans with timelines & budgets
• Experience in the CPG packaging & POS development process
• Experience in acquiring & using syndicated research, as well as conducting other types of market research & analysis
