Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager. In this role, you will assist the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations and management of our properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management and possess excellent administrative and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Property Manager in all aspects of property management, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations, using Appfolio and Tenant Tech.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws.
- Utilize Appfolio to track and manage work orders and maintenance requests.
- Assist with the administration of Section 8 voucher tenants.
- Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections and documenting any damages.
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related activities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is required.
- Experience with property management software, particularly Appfolio/Tenant Tech would be strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as record keeping, data entry, and report generation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Knowledge of facilities management principles is preferred.
- Familiarity with real estate administrative processes is a plus.
- Basic understanding of property management law is desired.
As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.66 - $20.68 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
