Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus to guests and answer any questions regarding menu items
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest experience
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or issues
- Clear tables, clean dining area, and reset tables for the next guests
- Assist with bussing tables during peak hours to maintain efficient service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and timely delivery
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of culinary terms, menu items, and food preparation techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong multitasking abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
