XMEK is Hiring a Purchasing Manager Near DFW Airport, TX
- Leading, developing and training the Purchasing department in best practice processes
- Review, track, and oversee all purchase order activity for multiple locations across the U.S.
- Monitoring inventory value levels to ensure efficient use of company funds
- Collaborating with Operations & Sales to execute the company SiOPS plan
- Coordinate expediting activities to optimize supplier on time delivery and minimize past due customer orders.
- Assist in building the company’s strategic sourcing plan and help to ensure seamless execution of it
- Identify both hard and soft cost savings opportunities within the supply chain
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Purchasing and/or Sourcing
- Prior proven experience leading a team of Buyers
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a similar field
- Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite
- Forecasting experience
- Good working knowledge of purchasing and inventory management best practices
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to process computer data; format, and generate reports
- Self-motivated, organized, and ability to manage time effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills and ability to work in cross functional teams
