Position: Warehouse Technician
Job Location: DFW Airport, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Status: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Role
This position will be responsible for picking product from the warehouse, quality control, and preparation for shipping.
Responsibilities
Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for delivery or shipping using automated bagging machine system both domestically and internationally.
Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements
Assists with physical inventory
Maintains expected business level of quality control on all items shipped
Performs other related duties as required
Skills and Abilities
Basic computer skills in MS Office, internet and email
Excellent attention to detail
Applicants should possess the ability to interact with customers, and team-members in a professional manner.
Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Requires a proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure. Additionally, must be able to perform calculations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
The ability to pull, push, grasp, bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
Qualifications
0-2 years of warehousing or production experience in an industrial setting
A high school diploma or equivalent
