We’re hiring a Maintenance Staff Assistant, for the Old Faithful area to Live. Work. Explore. in Yellowstone!

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Staff Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Maintenance Manager serving as the location's Maintenance Department's first point of contact for information and requests of service.Our maintenance team is responsible for opening properties prior to guest arrival, maintenance and repair during the season and closing the properties at the end of the season.

The Details:Position Type: Full-Time, Year-RoundPay: To be discussed during interviewSchedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for accurately and efficiently processing Service Requests, Work Orders and Purchase Requisitions using the company's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Responsible for maintaining an accurate, organized inventory of required repair parts and supplies.
  • Responsible for training and guiding the seasonal Staff Assistant.
  • Performs periodic physical inventories of all storeroom items and a yearly inventory audit with the General Accounting Office.
  • Assist team members with researching vendors and requested items.
  • Receives and processes all material deliveries made to the location.
  • Answers telephone calls, 2-way radio calls and responds to email, often serving as the location.
Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills to include proficiency with the Microsoft Office software suite and experience with (or the ability to quickly master) Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). 
  • Self-motivation and a proven track record of working independently with limited supervision.
  • Highly developed organizational skills. Organization is critical to the successful performance of the duties associated with this position.
  • An outgoing yet professional at-work personality and demeanor.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and possess a current valid driver's license with a safe driving record for the past 3 years.

Physical Requirements include:

  • Must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to adapt to working and living at altitude (greater than 6,000 feet above sea level)
