We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our dynamic team, contributing to the advancement of our software development initiatives under the mentorship of the Software Development Lead/Architect. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in achieving software development milestones within an Agile Software Development framework. Your primary responsibilities will involve supporting, modernizing, and migrating multiple intricate Line of Business (LoB) applications within a secure DoD environment, with emphasis on both front-end and back-end requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilize your expertise in various web frameworks and technologies, demonstrating proficiency in CSS, HTML, JSON, PowerShell, and T-SQL or PL/SQL within either or both of the following technology stacks implementing micro-services architecture:
• Java Spring Boot, React, JavaScript
• .NET Framework (preferably .NET Core), C#, MVC or Blazor, JavaScript, jQuery
• Contribute to an Agile environment, utilizing SCM tools like Azure DevOps and Git.
• Maintain code repositories, data flows, storyboards, and other development documentation.
• Collaborate on test plans and provide well-documented results at each stage of development in coordination with the Software Development Lead/Architect.
• Identify and troubleshoot bugs and issues throughout the CI/CD pipeline.
• Demonstrate familiarity with enabling technologies such as Apache Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL, Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, Windows Server 2019 , RedHat Enterprise Linux, VMware ESXI 7.0 .
• Possess some knowledge of configuring or developing applications to ensure compatibility across various browsers and mobile platforms (Android and iOS).
• Uphold compliance standards in coordination with the cybersecurity team.
• Assist in adhering to DoD secure technical guides and milestones to support Cybersecurity and Change Management.
• Effectively communicate ideas, both verbally and in writing, and prepare briefings for presentation to leadership and management staff.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience.
• Certification: CompTIA Security CE required before joining.
• Clearance: Active or Interim SECRET clearance preferred.
