Position Overview :

This position involves building Driver Training Simulators for a high-profile project. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling various motion platform systems and ensuring that all components meet stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities :

  • Construct and assemble various components of motion platform systems, including linear actuators, wiring, and electronic circuits.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure that all systems are built to the highest standards.
  • Maintain adherence to precise assembly protocols at the work site.
  • Manage parts inventory, utilize hand tools for component assembly, inspect for any defects, and prepare final products for shipping.
  • Be prepared to work variable hours and overtime when necessary.
  • Execute quality control assessments on both incoming materials and finished products.
  • Follow all company safety guidelines and operational procedures.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role within a production assembly setting, or extensive experience with hand and power tools.
  • Proficient in the assembly and functional testing of both electronic and mechanical components.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to following instructions meticulously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for addressing technical challenges.
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy items as required by the job.
  • A high school diploma or its equivalent is necessary.
  • Prior experience with extended reality technologies or vehicular training systems would be advantageous.
