Who we are looking for:

The Production Manager is responsible for assisting the production team with the execution of a select group of accounts within VML. They will manage specific production aspects of the traditional and digital media components starting in the creative process through execution for direct mail, television, print and digital efforts. This includes assisting in managing the selected vendors throughout the project, being accountable for the work at each vendor, maintaining best practices throughout production, tracking inventory and post-mail tracking processes.

What you'll do:

• Management and execution of all assigned production projects
• Manage and track projects from start to finish-ensuring that deadlines are met
• Adherence to departmental processes and guidelines
• Participate in daily production meetings - report on project status to internal team members
• Project expense reconciliation
• Assist in manage trafficking of proofs and data when assistance is needed with vendors
• Immediate escalation when timelines are in jeopardy
• Proofing, inventory management, quality control processes and procedures

What you'll need:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable environment
• Understanding of direct response channel delivery
• Demonstrated project management experience
• Strong excel and spreadsheet management skills
• Attention to detail (proofing and invoicing accuracy)
• Fluency in all Microsoft Suite Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word) and experience with InDesign
• Knowledge of USPS DMM guidelines & regulations
• Knowledge of digital and print media channels
• Strong communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong prioritization skills
