Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in partner communications, marketing, or a related role within the technology sector.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and design.
  • Proven ability to create engaging and informative enablement materials and communications.
  • Experience with content management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the technology industry and channel partner ecosystems is preferred.
  • Willingness to adapt and take on new challenges as they arise.

What is the Global Partner Alliances Team and why join?

Joining the Global Partner Alliances (GPA) Team at World Wide Technology (WWT) offers the chance to directly influence the success of strategic partnerships, driving mutual business growth and increasing profitability through innovative programs, marketing, and enablement. Team members are at the forefront of developing and nurturing key relationships with manufacturing and OEM partners, leveraging WWT's expertise and the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) to deliver comprehensive solutions. This role is perfect for those eager to engage in a blend of technical, strategic, and relationship management responsibilities, all within a collaborative culture recognized for its commitment to employee success and innovation.

What will you be doing?

As a Partner Communications Specialist you will be enhancing our partner relationships through effective communication and enablement strategies. The Partner Communications Specialist will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining a range of communication materials and platforms to ensure our partners and field teams are well-informed and equipped to drive success.

Responsibilities:

  • Updating Partner Pages (Overviews, Playbooks, etc.): Regularly update partner pages, including overviews and playbooks, ensuring all content is current, accurate, and aligns with the latest templates and branding guidelines. This includes updating the "What's New" section with the latest developments and offerings.
  • Fielding GPS Requests Related to the Above: Serve as the primary point of contact for Global Partner Solutions (GPS) requests related to communication materials, ensuring timely and effective responses and support.
  • Creating Quarterly GPA Newsletter for US, APAC: Take charge of the quarterly Global Partner Alliance (GPA) newsletter for the US and APAC regions, similar to the existing EMEA newsletter, to share updates, success stories, and key initiatives with our partners.
  • Creating a Bi-Annual Partner Survey: Design and execute bi-annual surveys to gather feedback from partners, analyze results, and make recommendations for improvements in our partner programs and strategies.
  • Creating Enablement Material for our Field/Partner Managers: Produce comprehensive enablement materials, including training guides, product updates, and sales strategies to support our field teams in engaging with partners and customers effectively.
  • Creating Consistency in Partner Pitch Decks: Develop and maintain high-quality pitch decks for partners, ensuring consistency in messaging, branding, and design across all materials.
  • Creating and Sending Strategic and Advantage Partner Newsletters: Develop and distribute newsletters specifically designed for strategic and advantage partners, highlighting key updates, opportunities, and insights to foster engagement and collaboration.
  • Liaison to Marketing: Act as a key liaison between the Partner Operations and Marketing teams, assisting with marketing overflow activities and ensuring partner communications are aligned with broader marketing strategies and initiatives.
