POSITION SUMMARY: The Communications Specialist will support development and implementation of internal and external communication strategies, and a variety of organizational initiatives aligned to branding, communications, employee engagement and organizational culture. The types of content the Communication Specialist may develop and implement include -- but is not limited to - internal communication collateral, press releases, newsletters, email blasts, announcements, social media posts, and website and intranet site content. The Communications Specialist must have the ability to work in a complex environment with multi-dimensional points of view, and be self-motivated, self-directed and highly organized. You should be able to pay attention to details, meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
LOCATION: Ferguson (North County)
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's Degree in journalism, communications, strategic marketing or other relevant field of study from an accredited university
Experience: One (1) - Three (3) years' experience in communications role or similar capacity
Skills and Abilities: which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.
Transportation Requirement: Must possess a valid driver's license and automobile with insurance coverage as required by the State of Missouri.
