Job Title: Executive Creative Administrator (ECA) Department: Executive Administration 

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer Job Status: Full Time,  Regular

Job Class: Exempt (In-Person)

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:

We believe the Church should be the most creative place on the planet. With that in mind, we hire people with a high level of vision as well as technical skills. The Executive Creative Administrator (ECA) has overall responsibility to provide leadership and direction for all creative needs across the church including the Broadcast Media, Marketing and Music departments. The ECA is hyper-focused on digital impact, creatively connecting with those who don’t know Jesus. The ECA works closely with ministry leaders and department heads to capture vision and communicate that vision with their creative staff (illustrators, photographers, designers, writers) to execute a strategy, concept, or idea. The ECA assists in setting the vision and strategy for a brand, campaign, or project. They are involved in creating a campaign that has an instant, positive, and compelling impact on how ministries and the Gospel are being presented. They will lead the team in formulating design concepts and presentation approaches and work together with the design team engaging in artwork, layout design, and copywriting for visual communications media such as magazines, books, newspapers, internet, direct mailings, television, digital signage, and packaging. The ECA must see the importance of building and growing relationships outside of their department (especially with ministry leaders and department heads) as this is vital to the success of the creative process and final outcome of all creative projects.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the broadcast media, marketing and music departments.
  • Provide leadership to assigned departments/creative designs staff.
  • Manage and delegate work to assigned departments / other designers and provide instruction/direction.
  • Work with and mentor other designers within the organization.
  • Assisting in developing and growing various staff and servant leaders.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide executive level support to the Pastors and CEO
  • Manage budgets for assigned departments.
  • Be the primary voice to the Pastors for design and visual aspects of the team.
  • Ensure updated departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, protocols and documentation on an annual basis to ensure continued efficiency and compliance
  • Oversee and provide direction for the Broadcast Media, Marketing and Music departments.
  • Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines.
  • Work from a brief to generate ideas to present to the client.
  • Commission specialists such as artists and photographers to work on projects.
  • Manage projects and work within a budget.
  • Edit the final results for presentation to the client.
  • Help grow the creative team within the technical and creative aspects of design.
  • Lead and develop the corporate brand.
  • Be a leading voice in creative brainstorming and campaign development with other departments.
  • Produce sketches, storyboards, and roughs to visualize ideas.
  • Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience.
  • Cooperate with the creative team across all media types.
  • Assist in developing fully engaging weekend presence, both in house, at Campus locations, and online platforms. 
  • Works autonomously while ensuring expectations are met and exceeded.
  • All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Certifications related to position preferred but not required

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years of experience as a Creative Director or in a similar role is required.
  • Excellent management and leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent in strategic planning and executive.
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills and experience working with staff on all levels.
  • Prior leader of a creative team and helped raise the level of design.
  • Strong Design Portfolio required 

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Must have morning, evening and weekend availability.
  • Proficient using Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office or related software.
  • Proficient using MacOS and PC
  • A gracious, Christ-like demeanor in demanding situationsCreative Leadership:
  • Provide strong leadership and direction for all creative needs across the church.
  • Champion the culture and brand of World Changers, overseeing the look and feel of the church, both online and in-person.
  • Lead and develop the creative team of volunteer team members and contractors, drawing out the best from everyone.
  • Lead ideations and brainstorms to generate new ideas and concepts and help solve problems.

Creative Content:

  • Plan and produce current, compelling, and engaging content through the creative team.
  • Support the creative design and production elements for message series, online services, weekend services, and special events, including graphics, video, etc.
  • Manage projects effectively, meeting timelines, quality expectations, and overall goals. 

  Creative Communications:

  • Provide direction for digital presence, internal and external communications, marketing, and public relations.
  • Lead the ongoing development, design, and function of all websites and our app.
  • Create an engaging community and impactful content through social media platforms.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and plans to connect to an unchurched audience.
  • Provide direction, guidance, and support to staff, contractors, and team members in producing digital, print, and written communications and content.
