As the HR Assistant, you will report to the HR Manager and provides customer service to applicants, employees and the public. You will support the HR Manager in various areas of Human Resources such as recruiting, employee relations, benefits and more.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- 5 yrs of related work experience or equivalent HR certifications/education
Preferred (Not Required):
- College education or degree
Job Duties:
- Assist the HR Manager to administer key components of onboarding process in support of high-volume hiring initiatives ensuring a fulfilling new hire experience, including Recruiting, Screening, Interviewing, Hiring, Affirmative Action Plan, etc.
- Coordinate orientation sessions for new employees.
-Perform and/or supports others on-boarding orientations including coordination with new employees.
- Work with the HR Manager in maintaining proper employee records.
- Promote company's policies.
- Computer skills and knowledge to work in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and be capable of becoming proficient in the company's HRIS system.
- Cover the main office, including answering the main phone lines, assisting people entering the main office, etc.
- Excellent team player with good communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Document all activities, situations and issues which are required to be recorded in a timely manner.
Additional Responsibilities:
Responsibilities are not limited to the above-mentioned and may include assisting other branches within reasonable and related tasks.
Employer Notes:
- Working in the office will require standing or sitting for prolonged periods-of-time
- May be required to visit production floor
- Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds in an office environment.
- Frequent reaching, handling, carrying and balancing.
