We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative who's positive, thrives in maintaining relationships, and following through. An Outside Sales Rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. As an Outside Sales Rep, you must be comfortable developing project estimates for Residential and Commercial building materials, You must also be comfortable requesting additional information from customers via email or phone if necessary and accurately entering customer information, leads, item quantities, and other data into customer database and estimation software.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have great customer service and follow-through, the ability to multi-task, and maintain a positive attitude
• The ideal candidate should have 3 years of prior industry experience and product knowledge

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility is to focus on the general contractors including both commercial and residential builders
• The candidate will report to a market leader who provides daily and weekly training support
• This position is expected to facilitate the entire sale from quoting, selling, receiving confirmations from vendors, and scheduling delivery with another department
• This position includes the following responsibilities, prospecting and cold calling on new and existing accounts, processing orders for building material product categories including doors, moulding, millwork, stair parts, and hardware related items

Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word processing software, spreadsheet software, internet browsers.
• Basic math proficiency — addition, subtraction, multiply and divide whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals in all units of measure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• G-Suit or Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel, and Gmail/Outlook

Work Environment

• Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM a plus
• Strong listening and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
