Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a medical office setting. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask will contribute to the smooth operation of our practice.

Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify patient information and update medical records
- Collect co-payments and process insurance information
- Assist with medical record management, including filing, scanning, and retrieval
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with dental or medical office operations is desirable
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of phone systems and basic computer skills
