Wisconsin Converting, Inc. (WCI) was founded in 1987 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The company sells exclusively through a growing list of over 1,400 packaging distributors in North America. WCI offers a complete line of stock and custom printed bags including Merchandise bags, Gourmet Bags, SOS bags, Sani-Liner® trash can liners, Eco-Shipper® and Dura-Bag® shipping bags. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, expanding current customer relationships by utilizing phone, email, travel when necessary and other digital channels. Your primary focus will be on driving revenue growth by effectively communicating the value proposition of our products to potential customers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Contact businesses by telephone and/or email to solicit sales of company products. WCI’s current customer base is packaging distributors located throughout the United States.
* Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner.
* Present prices, and credit and terms in accordance with company policy. Refer special pricing to CSR’s.
* Utilize CRM software to track leads, update customer information, and manage sales activities.
* Increase sales size by proactively cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales by offering additional training and support to enable our customers the ability to utilize our products.
* Respond to prospect inquiries and verify that they are a distributor candidate. Take appropriate action.
* Use a consultative approach to customer’s business with WCI that enables the opportunity to work with the customer’s sales group.
* Contact customers following quotes to ensure quotes were received and answer questions relating to the same.
* Cooperate with marketing to determine essential strategic approaches for sales. Make recommendations for sales programs based on customer trends, satisfactions, and dissatisfactions.
* Always present a professional image to customers
* Other duties as assigned
Education:
* Education beyond high school preferred
Experience:
* Previous sales experience required
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Excellent sales and customer service skills coupled with verbal and written communication skills.
* Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to learn and retain product knowledge.
* Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritizing tasks and delegating when necessary.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
* Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Requirements:
* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
* Must be able to lift up to fifteen pounds at times.
