RGL Logistics is Hiring a Sales Account Executive Near Green, WI

RGL Logistics, the company that helps you reinvent logistics by asking 'WHAT IF' has an opening for a proactive, confident, self-starter that thrives in a competitive environment in our Sales Account Executive role. The Sales Account Executive will sell RGL's multi-mode transportation brokerage solutions to prospective customers utilizing all contact methods such as phone, e-mail, social media, and periodic visits to mutually develop unique solutions for them vs. trying to be "all things to all customers". This role is key to strategically growing our customer and geographic footprint.

RGL's winning culture forms effective and trusting relationships with our customers, which is the foundation of how we implement mutually beneficial solutions. This role is a key in identifying and meeting our strategic growth plan.

Our Sales Account Executive is responsible for:

  • Build a book of business through researching, prospecting, and cold calling
  • Maintain and grow relationships with your customers through staying connected and engaged
  • Demonstrate professional communication via phone, email, and in person as well as other modes of communication as appropriate
  • Manage existing customer relationships with a goal of earning the right to grow with them year over year
  • Provide market and industry insight to customers through continuous awareness of market and industry trends
  • Utilize market and internal data to provide spot and contract pricing guidance
  • Analyze customers' transportation needs and provide solutions through RGL's portfolio of services
  • Manage all sales activities and opportunities in a customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Support preparing and presenting periodic customer business reviews
  • Achieve volume, revenue, and sales activity goals

Our Sales Account Executive will have the following competencies:

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Proven sales and negotiation skills.
  • Must have entrepreneurial spirit.
  • 2 years direct selling experience required
  • A minimum of 2 years of transportation/logistics experience
  • Ann associate of bachelor's degree or equal relevant experience
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Available and responsive to customers' needs
  • Strong computer skills with ability to navigate social media sites.
