Automotive Sales Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and a proven track record of success in the automotive industry. The Automotive Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives, developing, and implementing sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Monitor sales metrics and use data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Train and coach sales team members to improve their performance and maximize their potential.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry professionals.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of sales efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and industry professionals.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions to improve sales performance.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry trends, products, and services
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales software applications
