Chestnut Enterprises, located in Wilmington, NC, provides intermodal solutions including the maintenance and repair of chassis and containers, warehousing, trucking and depot operations. We are a family owned and operated company that has been in business since 1943.
Due to our growth and expanded services, we have an immediate need for an Administrative Assistant. This is an opportunity for stable employment with room for advancement. The position will involve answering phones, greeting customers at a service window, printing and scanning documents, filing, maintaining spreadsheets and data entry. Some experience with Excel is a plus. Must have valid drivers license and dependable transportation. Required to pass drug screen and background check.
The ideal candidate for this position would possess strong organizational and communication skills. This role requires you to interface with a multitude of people in person, on the phone and by email. A pleasant disposition for the customer is a must. This position will start with a schedule from 9:00-2:00 with the intention to transition to 8:00-noon. It may lead to full time.
The hours for this role are 8:00-12:00 Monday - Friday.
