Position Summary: As a Personal Chef specializing in organic food and clean eating, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional culinary menus focused on wholesome, sustainably sourced ingredients. Your primary responsibility will be to design and execute customized menus that prioritize organic produce, locally sourced ingredients, and clean cooking techniques tailored to the client's preferences and dietary requirements. You will collaborate closely with the client to understand their culinary preferences, while also maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and professionalism within a private household setting.

Key Roles / Responsibilities:

  • Develop personalized menus centered around organic, locally sourced ingredients and clean cooking techniques, aligning with the client’s dietary preferences.
  • Procure high-quality organic produce, meats, and other ingredients prioritizing freshness and seasonality.
  • Prepare meals using clean cooking methods such as grilling, steaming, and roasting to preserve nutritional integrity and enhance flavor.
  • Accommodate dietary preferences while maintaining the integrity of the organic and clean eating principles.
  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including inventory management, meal planning, grocery shopping, and equipment maintenance to ensure organization and efficiency.
  • Integrate organic and clean eating principles into the client’s lifestyle seamlessly.
  • Adapt menus and recipes to accommodate changes in ingredient availability and client preferences.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism while respecting the privacy of the client and their dietary choices within the private household environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the client to gather feedback, provide menu planning updates, and ensure satisfaction with the offerings.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Formal culinary training with a focus on organic cooking techniques and clean eating principles or equivalent work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution with valid license as a Registered Dietician (RD) or Registered Dietician Nutritionist (RDN) strongly preferred.
  • Strong passion for organic food with a deep understanding of organic farming, sourcing, and culinary applications.
  • Meticulous organization and attention to detail in ingredient selection, menu planning, and meal preparation, ensuring adherence to organic and clean eating standards.
  • Flexibility and willingness to accommodate the client’s schedule, preferences, and dietary needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.

Working Conditions:

  • Bending, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, sitting stand, walk, kneel, stoop, squat, pull, push, climb, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and see and standing (occasionally) for long periods of time.
  • Must demonstrate manual dexterity and be able to use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
