Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for counseling patients on medication usage in addition to compounding and dispensing medication orders under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Assists the pharmacists in various professional and technical activities associated with the distribution of medications, the maintenance of drug inventory, patient records and patient financial records.
• Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Completion of first professional year within an accredited college of pharmacy.
• License permit Pharmacy intern
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians and other allied health professionals is required
• BLS through the American Heart Association required.
