Qualifications:
18 years of age or older
Driver’s license (Valid and insurable with our insurance carrier)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of successful background requirements
Ability to lift 25 lbs. and transfer individuals as needed.
A caring heart and a desire to assist others
Obtain and maintain all required certifications (all provided during your paid training)
Primary Job Duties:
Provide direct care to adults with developmental disabilities
Assist with personal care tasks including all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, medical monitoring, and ambulation.
Assist with all aspects of maintaining a home environment including cleaning, laundry, general upkeep, grocery shopping, banking, and community activities.
Transportation to shopping, appointments, fun activities in the community
Establish and maintain support/companionship with the individuals we serve
