Essential Duties

  • Assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitoring vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
  • Assisting with mobility, such as transferring patients to and from beds and wheelchairs.
  • Assisting with feeding and providing hydration to patients who are unable to do so on their own.
  • Collecting specimens for laboratory testing, such as urine and blood samples.
  • Performing basic medical procedures, such as inserting catheters and administering medications.
  • Documenting patient care activities and maintaining patient records.
  • Communicating patient needs and changes in condition to the healthcare team.
  • Assisting with patient education, such as teaching patients how to perform exercises or use medical equipment.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • BLS or CPR certification encouraged
  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Ability to undergo a background check and drug test
  • Proof of COVID vaccination required
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more
  • Excellent time management skills
