Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Baker to join our team. As a Baker at Wetzel's Pretzels, you will be responsible for rolling and baking pretzels, prepping ingredients, expediting orders, restocking products, sanitizing work areas, and maintaining cleanliness. Your attention to detail and passion for baking will contribute to the high-quality pretzels we deliver to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Rolling:Roll pretzel dough into the desired shapes, ensuring consistent sizing and appearance.
Adhere to recipe guidelines and quality standards.

Oven Baking:Place pretzels in the oven and monitor baking times to achieve the perfect golden-brown finish.
Ensure pretzels are baked to a consistent texture and flavor.

Prepping:Prepare ingredients and toppings according to recipe specifications.
Measure and mix dough ingredients accurately.

Expediting Orders:Collaborate with Cashiers to fulfill customer orders promptly.
Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth order flow.

Re-stock Product:Monitor inventory levels and restock pretzels and ingredients as needed.
Assist with receiving and storing shipments.

Sanitizing:Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, following food safety and hygiene protocols.
Clean and sanitize baking equipment and utensils regularly.

Basic Cleaning:Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces.
Ensure cleanliness and organization in the bakery area.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in baking or food preparation preferred.
• Proficient in rolling and shaping pretzel dough.
• Knowledge of oven baking techniques and timing.
• Ability to follow recipes and adhere to quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
