About the Position
The Office Manager provides direct administrative support to the FDO office which includes Directors, Supervisors, Leads & the Assistant to the AVP, and the the AVP. Independently managing all office administrative functions in a professional, diplomatic, and highly confidential manner. The position has frequent contact with other campus departments and executives, including the offices of Vice Presidents, Vice Provosts, Deans, President, Provost, and other administrative offices, faculty, and staff.

The Office Manager is the backup to the Assistant to the AVP acting as coordinator of all FDO recruitments, personnel information, employee reporting, training, travel, onboarding, and offboarding as needed. The Office Manager is responsible for organizing, planning and supervising varied and extensive service units and central office activities.

Required Qualifications
  • 4 year bachelor’s degree or combination of education and additional related administrative support experience.
    • General knowledge of office management and administrative procedures, including files and records management. Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional personal presentation. Ability to use tact, discretion, and courtesy in interdepartmental, student, staff, faculty, and public contacts.
    • Willingness and ability to take initiative with high attention to detail. Skill in prioritizing, anticipating needs, and making independent decision where precedent may not exist.
    • Possess business writing, editing, proofreading, and grammatical skills.
    • Ability to manage time well and work under pressure situations with tight schedules and deadlines to complete projects.
    • Valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one prior to starting work in order to drive a state-owned vehicle for travel to work locations.
    Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous university experience.
  • Previous FDO experience.

    Salary

    $3,960 - $5,318/month depending on qualifications and experience.
