Job: Part-time office assistant in legal office in Tumwater, WA.
Duties may include:
- Assisting Attorney and Paralegal with various tasks as assigned;
- Answering all incoming phone calls, including intake procedure and scheduling for consultation appointments;
- Filing, making files, and other clerical duties;
- Setting up appointments for existing clients;
- Greeting clients, seating clients for meetings, and taking payments;
- Basic drafting duties as assigned; and
- Running errands and general cleaning duties.
Minimum qualifications:
- Completion of A.A. or equivalent experience;
- Willingness to learn and adapt;
- Self-starter;
- Good phone etiquette;
- Experience with basic clerical skills such as data input, filing, word processing, etc.;
- Good computer skills, including ability to learn new programs and/or OS;
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks; and
- Ability to follow directions and ask questions.
