Lifespan Construction is Hiring an Office Administrator Near Tumwater, WA

We are currently looking for an Office Admin for our established construction company based in Tumwater. Lifespan Construction specializes in residential remodels including kitchens, baths, additions, decks, and all interior and exterior related upgrades.

We are looking for an Office Admin that can assist with the following;

  • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Reconciliation of accounts monthly on QuickBooks Online.
  • Assists with light marketing, including mailings.
  • HR tasks such as onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, planning/coordinating company events, activities and meetings.
  • Keeping the office tidy, ordering and purchasing office supplies/gift cards, preparing client folders and close-out gifts for clients.
  • Run automated payroll on Gusto.
  • Vehicle maintenance and record keeping of mileage and condition of vehicles.
  • Assist in receiving orders and organizing them in the warehouse as needed.
  • Monitor phones and all incoming communication.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online or Quickbooks Desktop is required. This is an accounting position first and foremost.
  • Accounting education or solid on the job training is a must.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in an office environment.
  • Experience in construction work-in-process and job cost accounting is preferred.
  • A high degree of computer literacy using MS Office products and Google Suite. Spreadsheet (Google Sheets) skills are key.
  • Strong organizational skills, filing prowess, systems development, strong auditing skills.
  • Hard working team player who can easily integrate with staff and adapt to changing needs.
  • Special Skills: Thinking, problem solving, detail oriented, smart, courteous, good with clients, easy going but focused.

This position is key to our success. Accounting education or experience is vital. We are currently offering a competitive hourly wage with room for increased over time, mileage reimbursement, paid time off, health insurance, IRA matching and a great place to work. (Benefits adjusted depending on the average hours per week worked)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
