Wells Fargo is Hiring a Remote Lead Business Accountability Specialist- Audit Oversight

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Accountability Specialist to support the Home Lending Change Management Internal Review & Governance team within the Strategy, Transformation and Customer organization. This team is responsible for monitoring the performance of the Home Lending change management process in alignment with Enterprise Change Management (EMC) and Technology policy and procedure. This team serves as a central point of coordination for all Independent Risk Management (IRM), Control, Audit and internal review teams ensuring alignment with all internal policy and procedure requirements in partnership with other change management stakeholders. Coordinate audits and internal reviews, provide oversight for Home Lending Change Management performance controls, corrective actions and responding to inquiries for other processes pointing to Home Lending Change management for control or evidence for their review.
In this role, you will:
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with Home Lending senior leaders and decision makers.
  • Support development of root cause research and business care for proposed technology, product, staff, and structure changes, including researching cost estimates
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, mitigation, and control opportunities.
  • Help establish standards for measuring performance against process requirements using formal performance measures and methods.
  • Ensure development of metrices that provide data for future improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure appropriate application of performance statistical approaches to identify key factors or evidence of performance change.
  • Making decisions in a complex and multi-faceted situations requiring understanding of change management and product work areas and responsibilities, consulting with members of the product teams, Home Lending Change Management leadership and other groups such as Technology, Enterprise Change Management, Business Process to drive change management initiatives supporting Home Lending
Required Qualifications,
  • 5 years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work, process multiple tasks simultaneously, identify stakeholders, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Proven ability to use independent judgement to drive solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with high diligence and accuracy
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner.
  • Strength in speaking with candor and credibility challenging others to do and be their best.
  • Experience and interaction with internal audit/testing functions.
  • Experience with exam management activities.
  • Experience with SHRP, the Issue Management Policy, and Corrective Action management.
  • Strong knowledge of the Wells Fargo risk framework highly desired
  • Capability of working in a rapidly changing, highly complex matrixed environment
Job Expectations:
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule. (minimum of 3 days per week in one of the office locations listed). Telework or remote work setting is not available.
