About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the Support Services team within the Enterprise Customer Tax Utility. This role will lead Issues Management monitoring routines for Customer Tax issues across the Enterprise, support the Tax Utility team to ensure Tax Utility-owned issues are opened timely, appropriate documentation completed, milestones identified and tracked, appropriate artifacts are documented to evidence successful closure of issues. This role will also provide support with process and control documentation, including management of workflow and approval processes, and review of control documentation to ensure documentation meets expectations and Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Program requirements. This role will involves partnership across the Tax Utility, Business Control Management, Operational Risk Business Officers (ORBO), Business Aligned Compliance Officers (BACO), and Group Tax Leaders (GTL).


In this role, you will:

  • Manage bi-weekly and monthly routines monitoring customer tax-related issues across the Wells Fargo Enterprise

  • Monthly Issue Portfolio Reviews and Thematic Analysis on Enterprise Issues, partnering with Group Tax Leaders and other partners to develop hypothesis, complete due diligence, research, and create action plans

  • Support opening of newly identified issues within required timelines, establishing required documentation, and supporting the Tax Utility with preparing materials for Tollgate Reviews

  • Lead routines related to Operational Risk Events (OREs) and Risk Escalations

  • Partner with multiple stakeholders and resources within the Tax Utility and within other partner groups

  • Prepare presentation and summary materials for use within multiple levels of the organization to key stakeholders and senior management

  • Manage workflow of new or revised process and control documentation in coordination with key stakeholders and support conformity with RCSA Program expectations.


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Issues Management Operational Risk Event (ORE), and Risk Escalation processes, requirements, and timelines

  • Strong knowledge of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) control documentation expectations

  • Knowledge of Customer Tax Information Reporting processes

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • Strong organization skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Experience communicating in both written and verbal formats with senior executive-level leaders

  • Ability to turn preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans and solutions

  • Solid critical thinking skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) skills.
