Wells Fargo is Hiring a Remote Lead Business Execution Consultant / Corporate Risk

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant within the Consumer Lending Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Credit Governance Team. This role will work directly with the Personal Lending CRO group to ensure all aspects of credit governance requirements are met. Additionally, this role will serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the Personal Lending CRO group to stay informed of enterprise credit policy changes impacting Personal Lending, ensure that timelines are met for program implementations, as well as provide direction to the Personal Lending CRO team on how to structure new credit programs.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Strategy, Planning, and Governance Group as well as the Personal Lending CRO team to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 5 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Deep knowledge of the credit lifecycle (originations, servicing, and transformation)
  • Prior experience within the Wells Fargo credit ecosystem including familiarity with the Credit Approval Process (CAP) process
  • Understanding of Wells Fargo's multiple lines of defense and how each line interacts to ensure credit risk is effectively managed
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across multiple levels of the credit and CRO organization
  • Ability to effectively and independently operate in a fast paced environment
