In this role:
The Eligibility Services Product Analyst will support the Eligibility Utility Product Manager and Product Owners to develop and deliver the Utility’s functions to meet prioritized Enterprise objectives. The Product Analyst will determine how to gain a comprehensive understanding of what the business is asking for, will document that understanding in the form of requirements, and will work with the collective Product team to ensure that all requirements are delivered as part of a release and in accordance with documented control procedures.
A successful Product Analyst will be responsible for the following representative tasks:
· Understanding the vision of the Eligibility Utility, and serving as the primary point of contact for requirements discussions between the Business Stakeholders and the EU Scrum Team
· Leading data/technical design sessions, working with SMEs, to understand and capture functional and non-functional data design requirements specific to assigned use cases:
· Working across Eligibility Utility as well as upstream and downstream Product partners to communicate requirements and capture those requirements in Jira in Business language
· Generating user stories to capture requirements, and ensuring that those user stories are complete, detailed, include adequate acceptance criteria, and follow defined control procedures
· Partnering with the Product Owner to generate an implementation plan
· Partnering with the Product Owner to confirm stories are assigned to sprints in accordance with delivery timelines
· Assisting in development of UAT test scenarios, and conducting UAT testing for functionality as it is released
· Maintaining a traceability matrix to ensure that all requirements are accounted for, tested and delivered
· Assisting with the resolution of data related execution issues/risks and data defect remediation activities during development/deployment activities
· Performing and/or tracking performance of applicable Product Controls to ensure compliance with RCSA standards (i.e. periodic rule attestations, self-QA to ensure change control documentation is in place, etc.)
Required Qualification:
4 years of Product Management experience, product development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
· Significant Agile and Jira experience
· Prior experience with Decision Engines and business decisioning rules
· Prior experience developing automated Eligibility and/or Targeting platform, for example familiarity with credit risk modeling platforms such as Zoot
· Working knowledge of marketing product eligibility and targeting criteria
· Ability to conduct interviews and ask meaningful questions to gather requirements in adequate detail for development team members
· Strong SQL/HiveQL skills
· Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously
· Ability to operate independently in a Dynamic and complex environment
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
· Desire to continuously learn and grow
