We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will oversee all nursing operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulations under the guidance of the Director of Nursing Services.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist the DON in developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures
- Supervise nursing staff and provide guidance and support
- Collaborate with doctors to create care plans for patients
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other legal requirements
- Manage budgets and resources effectively
- Oversee nursing activities in various settings such as acute care and skilled nursing environment
**Experience:**
- Proven experience in supervising nursing staff
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology
- Familiarity with acute care and skilled nursing environments
