The Campus Recreation Office Assistant serves a front line role in the department’s delivery of customer service. This position responds to participant needs and inquiries in person in the office, over the phone, as well as at special events. Daily duties include registering participants for department programs, providing friendly and informative responses to participant questions, reliable handling of cash (opening/closing cash register, processing payments, balancing register, etc.), and other projects as assigned
**This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time, the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.

Must be a current student at Weber State University
Should have some customer service background, experience with recreational/sporting activities
Current CPR/First Aid Certification (can be obtained after hire)
Excellent customer service skills, good communication skills, ability to work well with others, and basic knowledge of recreational/sporting activities

1 years of customer service background, experience working in a recreational/sporting environment, knowledge of Weber State Campus Recreation Department, flexibility in scheduling
