Position Summary: Account Executive, East Coast Advertising Sales
The Account Executive, East Coast is responsible for comprehensive coverage of assigned advertising agencies and clients specifically dedicated to representing AMG linear, digital and streaming platforms. This individual must be able to grow and maintain existing clients as well as prospect and close new advertising business. Ideal candidate will be highly competitive and financially motivated. Candidate must be experienced in managing a large volume of accounts across multiple platforms and maintain a reputation for excellent customer service. Must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment. Candidates must possess strong knowledge and experience selling linear, digital and ad supported streaming platforms.
Account Executive will work closely with clients and advertising holding companies ensuring AMG is a ‘must-buy’ for advertisers to reach and engage audiences at scale across our portfolio of linear and digital properties. AE will grow and manage agency holding company and client relationships. Will perform with a client first approach and ensure positive impact using the full breadth of Allen Media Group’s portfolio.
Responsibilities include:
Achieve revenue and growth targets across assigned linear and digital properties.
Identify and execute strategies which result in exceeding revenue targets within your assigned lists of agencies/territories.
Develop and execute effective sales strategies that showcase the unique strengths and value of each property as well as maximize overall revenues for the overarching National Sales organization.
Foster open and transparent communication channels, ensure that the value propositions of all properties are properly communicated to potential revenue sources.
Will grow and manage agency holding company and client relationships within assigned territories along the East Coast.
Develop and manage key client / advertiser relationships and evangelize the full suite of content, marketing and ad sponsorship offerings.
Focus on helping clients/advertisers utilize innovative data and technology solutions such as alternative currency measurement to maximize client delivery.
Understand client’s needs, prepare sales plans, proposals and (pitch) presentations.
Identify new business; develop new relationships with key marketing/media decision makers.
Negotiate and manage scatter and upfront business.
Identify go to market strategies for sponsorships
Identify and capture strategic high-value opportunities
Deliver marketers a superior advertising experience that utilizes insights to drive business outcomes
Will partner closely with platform monetization on planning and packaging cross platform.Will collaborate closely with departments across the organization, including yield, marketing, operations, technology etc. to maximize partnership opportunities.
Manage the sales process from proposal through post-analysis and renewal/upsell
Work effectively with team members throughout the portfolio; leverage relationships across the company to align client needs with all offerings
About you:
8 years’ of extensive experience in advertising sales. Combined sales within a media organization selling a multi platform offering of linear and digital preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong ability to represent multi platform opportunities
Established relationships with key agency and client contacts within the NY marketplace
Excellent communication skills, and ability to develop and present strategic updates to internal and external stakeholders
Strategic thinker, creative problem solver, resourceful
Exceptional ability to develop and maintain cross-functional relationships
Strong team orientation and interpersonal skills
Experience working in a fast-paced, evolving entrepreneurial environment
The ability to work well with others and collaborate across the organization to achieve goals
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage, prioritize, and balance multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail and time management
Additional Information:
This is currently a hybrid role, requiring at minimum Account Executive to work within our NYC office three days per week.
Compensation range: $175,000 - $250,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the positions, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer the opportunity to elect medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K and paid time off.
