```Job Overview:```
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant who is Maryland registered and experienced in taking X-Ray, and who can in a minor capacity function as a Receptionist to join our team. We are a multicultural practice and about half of our patients communicate in Tagalog. As a Dental Assistant you will be responsible for preparing all instruments used in a wide range of family general dentistry. The Dentist performs all procedures with utmost care and precision and expects the assistant to effectively support such work to so to provide excellent customer service.
```Responsibilities:```
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Occasional Schedule and confirm appointments using Eagle Soft software system
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Manage patient records and update information as necessary
-Occasionally Verify insurance coverage
- Occasionally Collect payments and provide accurate billing information to patients
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Maintain cleanliness of the operatories and cleanliness of the clinic during unscheduled patient time
```Requirements:```
- Registered in state of Maryland to take Xrays and Proven experience in taking X rays.
- Minor Proficiency in Eaglesoft or willingness to learn.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and general dentistry procedures in assitanting the dentist.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and preferably ability to speak and understand Tagalog
- Ability to run autoclave, logically package dental instruments, keep all dental instruments and supplies organized, prepare instruments for a variety of general dentistry procedures.
- Familiarity with phone system and handling patient inquiries professionally
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing patient records and billing information
- Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA regulations
