Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dental professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support. Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and documentation
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Take vital signs and record patient medical history
- Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, including pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficiency in taking accurate patient vital signs
- Experience with medical coding and insurance billing preferred
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
