DUTIES OF POSITION The Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of We C.A.R.E. Home Health Agency LLC.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains confidentiality and professionalism in handling duties and responsibilities. Greets people providing exceptional customer service as they enter the Agency. Answers calls, managing general information questions, screens visitors and delivers messages. Answering compliant calls and fielding problems, engaging in problem solving or directing to leadership as needed. Track complaints calls according to company protocol. Highly motivated with great organizational skills and a passion for providing exceptional administrative support. Answer transportation calls as serve as a triage person directing calls to the Director of Transportation. Maintain and organize electronic and physical files. Assist with various administrative tasks as assigned. Makes appointments and informs staff members of meetings. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Strong people skills. Opens and sorts of mail. Does photocopying as required. Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Evidence of proficiency with virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, SharePoint). Manage office supplies.
Performs other duties as required.
JOB CONDITIONS Position is stressful in terms of meeting deadlines. It is primarily a desk job which involves sitting, standing, stooping, and walking, as well as an inordinate amount of telephone communication. It requires minimal lifting of office records and printouts. The ability to read twelve point and larger type is required. One must be able to hear adequately on the telephone with no more than an amplifier and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing in English.
EQUIPMENT OPERATION The job requires the ability to utilize a PC, calculator, multi-line telephone, and other related office equipment.
COMPANY INFORMATION Has access to all consumer records, including financial records, which may be discussed with all management staff.
QUALIFICATIONS 1. Must have a high school education or GED equivalent. Some college preferred. . 2. Previous experience in an administrative role is in a health care setting is preferred 3. Must have a minimum of one-two years office experience. 4. Must possess typing and other clerical skills. 5. Must have a criminal check and other checks as required by PA regulation.
