WDC Kitchen & Bath Center is looking for an experienced and energetic Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team!
WDC Kitchen & Bath Center is a family owned and operated luxury retailer of home appliances, outdoor kitchens, plumbing fixtures and mattresses. We pride ourselves on having expert sales teams, being customer experienced focused, having $25 million in ready to ship inventory and giving unlimited earning opportunities to our sales team. We have been serving the Southern California area for nearly fifty years.
JOB SUMMARY: The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for growing appliance and plumbing fixture sales with existing customers, obtaining new customers, expanding market share and managing the assigned territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Quotes and sells appliances and plumbing fixtures to developers, contractors and designers with both potential and existing clients.
· Develops and executes sales strategies to grow existing customer base and geographic footprint.
· Negotiates pricing, contract terms and conditions and project scope with existing and new customers.
· Responds to and resolves customer service issues by deploying necessary Company resources.
· Maintains and demonstrates a positive attitude with all associates, customers, vendors and other business partners.
· Meets goals and objectives set by the VP of Sales and Upper Management.
· Develops long term relationships with strategic customers and manages customer portfolios to ensure repeat business.
· Analyzes competition in the assigned territory, devises and communicates sales strategies to Upper Management.
· Documents all sales activity performed in our internal CRM software for ongoing evaluation of the new business pipeline and measurement of sales closure results.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field highly preferred; or a combination of experience and education that results in the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform this job.
· Previous experience (at least 2-5 years preferred) in homebuilding, appliance, outside sales or retail related business.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Assertive, self-motivated, and capable of making independent decisions.
· Experience in customer relationship management.
· Solid closing skills and ability to build value-added long-term relationships.
· Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
· Must be proficient with using the Microsoft Office suite (word, excel, power point, and outlook) and experienced with using technology.
The Outside Sales Representative Salary is $75,000-$200,00 per year.
