Role Summary:

The Marketing Project Manager oversees the marketing project experience and leads initiatives from the initial brainstorming and research phase, straight through implementation production, and on to debriefing and reporting. This role will take ownership of the processes and documentation to ensure efficient and effective project execution.

Here’s How You Make an Impact:

• Providing seamless project management for all marketing-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, in scope and in budget
• Leading team alignment including kick-off calls, follow-ups, creative brief reviews, campaign execution reviews, and status’
• Ensuring trackers and tools are updated with the correct status, deadlines and next steps (Confluence, Jira Work Management, Slack, Google Drive). 
• Keeping the stakeholders informed through timely and effective communications.
• Managing the flow and progress of planned and ad hoc marketing requests.
• Obtaining scope and prioritization change approvals, flag risks or delays.
• Proactively reaching out to stakeholders to ensure projects are progressing.
• Aligning teams to processes and help onboard new employees to ensure they are familiar with our tools and processes, ultimately setting them up for success
• Supporting the Marketing planning process.
• Developing new and improving existing processes to support marketing project delivery

• 5 years of similar experience in a marketing or agency environment.
• Understand project management principles, are masters of time management, strong communicators, and problem solvers.
• Demonstrates strong initiative, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated working experience with Jira, Asana, Trello or other Kanban-based project management software is required. 
• Documentation experience using tools like Confluence or Notion is a must.
• Able to collaborate effectively and build strong working relationships with cross-functional marketing teams and key stakeholders.
• Able to manage and resolve conflicts and challenges through feed-forward, kind conversation and problem-solving—escalating to the right manager when necessary.
• Can manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Solid understanding of the creative process.
• Able to work independently with limited supervision.
• A critical thinker who can present solutions, not problems.
• Have a growth mindset.
• Are a strong verbal and written communicator and are comfortable leading meetings.
• Project Management certification like CAPM or PMP would be a bonus!
